Created in a limited edition of only five, each Giclée reproduction is produced at the same scale as the original artwork and individually intervened by Esteban Machado Díaz.

The artist’s intervention gives each edition its own distinct character, making every piece unique within the series. Each work is signed and numbered by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Roselle Gallery.

Working directly on the Giclée reproduction, the artist introduces new hand-painted details that extend the visual language of the original work. Each intervention develops organically, making every edition distinct.

THE FINAL WORK

One Edition. One Character.

Once completed, each work carries its own individual details within the edition of five. It is then signed and numbered by the artist, preserving both its connection to the original artwork and its singular character.

About

La práctica artística de Esteban Machado Díaz se nutre de la rica tradición de la pintura de paisaje cubana, al tiempo que establece un diálogo con referentes artísticos europeos y estadounidenses. Su obra explora el paisaje como un espacio donde convergen la naturaleza, la memoria, la espiritualidad y la condición humana.

Enraizado en el legado de los paisajistas cubanos del siglo XIX entre ellos Esteban Chartrand, Valentín Sanz Carta, Federico Américo, Miguel Arias, Federico Fernández Cavada, Gonzalo Escalante, Leopoldo Romañach y Armando Menocal, Machado desarrolla un lenguaje visual propio, caracterizado por narrativas simbólicas, una minuciosa atención al detalle y un evocador uso de la luz y el color.

Su vocabulario artístico refleja asimismo un diálogo con la Escuela del Río Hudson y con maestros europeos de la pintura de paisaje y marina, entre ellos Albert Bierstadt, J. M. W. Turner, John Constable, Ivan Aivazovsky, Ivan Shishkin e Ilya Repin.
