"I paint myself because I know myself best"

About

Since my beginnings, I have always highlighted the figure of the woman as the main representation of strength and resilience in my works, as the femme fatale. Then, the fact of living and witnessing the consecutive human losses in my family, my pieces began to reflect and speak for themselves, and augment themselves, capturing in each one of them, my soul, and deepening in the study of life after death (resurrection), the chaos theory and the "black box" of the brain.

I give life to surrealist pieces, with a predominance of symbolism, in which painting, engraving and pen drawing, make each work have a dark beauty, where gold and silver stand out from that dark atmosphere and create an inescapable beauty, going hand in hand with mosaics and prints, still lifes and diffuse landscapes that give way to portraits, but most of all, self-portraits, since, and I quote Frida Kahlo "I paint myself because I know myself best".
