Welcome to the Roselle Gallery family, Ileana Mulet!
We are very happy to announce the addition of Ileana Mulet, an outstanding plastic artist, to our gallery. With a career that reflects the richness of Cuban art, Ileana has dedicated her life to exploring and expressing the essence of female creativity, becoming a source of inspiration for new generations of artists.
Ileana Mulet Batista (Holguín, Cuba, 1952) is a renowned painter, draftsman, designer and writer. She graduated in Plastic Arts from the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in Interior and Costume Design for Cuban Television. Member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) in the fields of Plastic Arts, Cinema, Radio and TV, and Literature, Mulet is also part of Loinus / Rejoinsnous, an international organization of poets.

His pictorial work is characterized by the expressionist treatment of the urban landscape through poetic recreations of the colonial city. Havana and poetry seem to be two great fascinations of the artist. Hence, he not only dedicates his canvases to the city, but also poems of his authorship that generally make up the exhibitions. Among his personal exhibitions are Cities, Days and Nights (1985) and Habana Mia (2009), at the Museum of Colonial Art, and Murmullo que asi thundero, at the Palacio de Lombillo (2012).

The incorporation of Ileana to Roselle Gallery not only enriches our collection, but also strengthens our mission of disseminating Latin American art, placing special emphasis on the voice of women. We believe his work and vision will resonate deeply with those seeking to connect with their essence and explore the energies that surround us.
